Founded in 1975 by Richard Stanis as a small, corrugated metal fabricator in Illinois, RPS Engineering grew steadily into a trusted leader in durable industrial cover systems. We celebrated our 50th anniversary in December 2025, marking five decades of innovation and reliability.
In late 2025, Linda Peddle acquired the company and now serves as President & Owner. Under her leadership, RPS continues its commitment to quality craftsmanship while embracing fresh energy, growth, and a focus on people and partnerships. We are proud to be a woman-owned business, delivering custom solutions nationwide from our headquarters in Elgin, Illinois.
Our Story
From a modest shop specializing in conveyor covers, we’ve expanded into a multi-million-dollar operation serving harsh environments across industries. Today, with a skilled team and modern processes, we engineer covers that protect assets and enhance efficiency—always Made in the USA.
What We Do
- Conveyor Belt Covers — Custom hinged, corrugated, and fixed designs (18″–96″ belts), often with 1–2 week shipping.
- Wastewater Treatment Covers — Flat tank covers, Odor control domes (Fiberglass, Aluminum), flat/launder covers, weirs, baffles (aluminum/FRP).
- Metal Curving Solutions — Curved metal roofing, siding, and hinged panels.
