Replacement Support Bands
Support bands are the backbone of every cover assembly — and the part most likely to need replacement after years of wind loading and weather. RPS sells bands individually, formed to your belt width and cover series.
- 12 ga or 10 ga G-90 galvanized steel for CH and CH75 covers
- 12 ga Type 304 stainless steel for CHFG fiberglass covers
- Corrugated bands available for CHCO, CHCS, and CHLC covers
- Aluminum and stainless options for any series
Safety Chains
Available for all hinged covers, including the CH Series and the hinged ¾-coverage CHEB75 Series. Strongly recommended for above-grade or elevated conveyors — CEMA (Conveyor Equipment Manufacturers Association) guidelines emphasize safe maintenance access on belt conveyors, and chains keep open covers controlled at height. Sold with new assemblies or separately to retrofit existing hinged covers.
- Allow easy retrieval of covers during maintenance

Integral Wind Guards
Extended cover and support band design that protects the return belt from high winds.
- Available on one side (prevailing wind) or both sides
- Custom lengths matched to your conveyor
- Reduce material loss and belt tracking issues caused by wind
Wind Skirt Angles with Gasket
Close the standard 2-7/8″ gap between the bottom of the cover and the top of the channel or stringer. Can be added to any existing installation — no design changes required.
- Improve dust and wind containment without design changes
- Allow use of standard eye bolts
- Available with neoprene or EPDM gasket
Angle-to-Channel Fasteners
Heavy-duty 5/8″ × 2-1/4″ bolts supplied with hex nuts, lock washers, flat washers, and bevel washers — available by the set for new installations or as replacement hardware.

- Space support bands evenly between carrying idlers for maximum stability
2-Piece Mounting Brackets
Designed for CH-series covers mounting on trusses with wide I- or T-beams or other obstructions.
- Provide the clearance needed for eye bolts on wide-beam trusses
- Maintain a secure fit without modifying the truss
