RPS Engineering is proud to announce national certification as a Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE) by the Women’s Business Development Center – Midwest, a WBENC Regional Partner Organization.
Led by Linda Peddle, RPS Engineering has curved steel in Elgin, IL. since 1975. RPS manufactures custom conveyor covers and hoods for aggregate, mining, and industrial operations, and channel and tank covers for wastewater treatment plants all across the USA. Our WBE certification verifies that the company is woman-owned, operated and controlled, and allows our customers to count RPS purchases toward corporate and government supplier diversity goals.
What WBE Certification Means for Our Customers

WBENC certification is the most widely accepted third-party standard for women-owned businesses in the United States, recognized by thousands of corporations and government agencies. The certification process is rigorous: an in-depth review of ownership, operations, and financials, plus an on-site inspection confirming the business is at least 51% owned, operated, and controlled by a woman.
WBE Participation for Wastewater Treatment Projects
For municipal and publicly funded WWTP projects with MBE/WBE participation requirements, RPS Engineering can now be counted toward WBE participation goals. Many state and federally funded water infrastructure projects carry mandatory diversity participation percentages, and general contractors bidding those jobs need certified suppliers to meet them.
